2022 Recap and Achievements

In the year of 2022, Brisbane’s median property value rose by 32 per cent - reaching an all-time high.

In this article, I will highlight some of Habitat’s 2022 achievements.

SALES

Habitat sold their highest valued property, located in Ascot, for $1,950,000 shortly after its first viewing.

 

RENTALS

Habitat leased a total of 51 properties - 20 houses, and 38 apartments.

Houses leased for a median price of $695 per week, with the median advertising period coming to 14 days.

Apartments leased for a median price of $578 per week, with the median advertising period coming to only 8 days, with many properties leased after 1 viewing.


THE STATS

Each quarter, the Residential Tenancies Agency (RTA) reports on the quarterly rental trends within each Queensland Local Government Area.

 

Below, Brisbane’s median rental price - sourced from the RTA - has been compared to the median price of Habitat rental properties within the last 12 months.
